Prepare tissues before watching this movie. One day a puppy comes to Akari's house, who has just turned 14,and was trying hard to act strong after her mother suddenly fell ill.She immediately fell in love with the puppy and named it "Socks" after the paws which looked like they had white socks on.Her mother told Akari about 10 Promises To My Dog, the things that she had to do with Sock when she was still alive, about 10 years and the last thing to do when Sock was about to die. Akari was together with Socks day and night. However, as Akari grews up,her feelings and interest moved away from Socks. Year by year,their distance grew, which also led to her physical distance as she had to work One day Akari remembered the 10 promises that she had made with her mother, it was the last time she could be with Sock alive coz Sock was dying and she was 10 years old already. And she couldn't stop her tears coz she realized that she forgot some of her promises to do with Sock.
