Our Boquete, Panama vacation rental property. For at least two weeks, we've been at this vatation rental in Boquete, Panama. Even though we're not on vacation, this rental has been our favorite place to stay in Panama so far. Boquete is much cooler than the rest of Panama and the Casita here is the best place we've rented (so far) in our 4 1/2 weeks on the road. Panama: Independence Day (Take 2) in David, Panama

With Independence Day officially on November 3rd, and Columbus Day on November 5th, the Independence celebrations and parades basically last several days. This included a big street parade where kids from the local Collegia (Basically non-mandatory high school) come to drum, trumpet, play instruments, and march in the street in celebration of the day.
