We want to start with a proposition: The only reason bad tattooers and bad tattoo shops exist is that most people don't know the differences between the good, the bad, and the ugly. We hope to change all that. What's the purpose of Tattoo Collector Magazine? To represent the finest artists in the tattoo world to the serious tattoo fan. This is no regular newsstand magazine, we aren't after a quick buck and we won't take advantage of your ignorance in order to sell more copies. This project is done by tattooers and with the support of the tattoo community to properly represent the finest of our field. And it is our goal to show off our best and brightest stars. We will consistently present you the best tattooing has to offer and we will endeavor to not only entertain you but also to educate you about the world of tattooing, what to look for in a tattooer and how to find the best artist to do your work in your area or abroad. We will also share with you some simple principals which will help you learn the difference between a good tattoo and a bad tattoo. Our one objective is to raise the bar in the tattoo world by educating the masses about quality and integrity in our craft. We will present you with only the finest tattooers around and, we hope, over time, you will be able to discern the differences yourself.
