The finishing touch: the right amount of black wax and a tiny seal to imprint the double Cs. You would need to have a good eye and a pair of steady hands to judge the appropriate amount of wax and to ensure that the double Cs are exactly in the middle of the blob of wax.
The baudruche is held together with a cotton string to seal the perfume bottle. While it may look easy, it's not. The thread looping sequence was enough to confuse most.
