This Channel contains footage of our annual New Years party. Every year the Chicago Okinawa Kenjinkai meets and has a huge party to celebrate the coming of the new year. This is an opportunity for us to gather and share our Okinawan heritage. Members perform for the group and guests are invited to show other cultures near to our hearts.

This is a collection of Okinawan song and Dance Performances from the 25th Annual Okinawan Festival held in Honolulu Hawaii on August 31st to September 2nd 2007. The performers come both from Okinawa and from Hawaii and belong to various Okinawan cultural organizations dedicated to keeping the Uchinanchu Spirit and Culture alive.
