To be honest, I never saw the original show. But what I can tell you is that the different chapters of Robotech are originally three different series. The originally name of the first chapter is something like Super Dimentinal Macross Fortress. I'm not completly sure, check online. When the three series came over to America they were just put together and called Robotech.

I create the tag using 2 different programs, for the Join these groups which I use AVS4U Video Editor, then for the picture and music I usually use Windows Movie Maker. Then when I have the tag made I encode both the tag and the video together using AVS4U Converter to create the final product
