Hua Hin is a beach resort on the Gulf of Thailand that is much favored by the Thai royalty. Yui and I explore The beach with dogs everywhere and go to nearby palace of King Rama V.
Yui and I were walking in Hua Hin when she heard the Thai accents of the fisherpeople and recognized them as from her part of Thailand - Trat - on the other side of the Gulf - and it turns out they knew her family. It is always a small world in Thailand. The fisherpeople had to leave Trat because of overfishing and perhaps soon they will have to leave Hua Hin as well.
A visit with Yui to a beautiful area of Thailand just south of Hua Hin on the Gulf of Siam. The cave on the island was a favorite of King Rama V.
From a frozen Lake Erie to a sweltering Bangkok with some amazing views of Alaska in between. When I left Cleveland Wednesday it had been zero and then on Friday in Thailand it was 100 - a visual contrast. Music by Ivy.
