Funds backed by Goldman Sachs, which owns a third of Big Brothers production company Endemol and which also led a consortium of banks that lent €2.2m to fund the deal, are now buying back the companys debt. In June, having been unable to offload the debt for a year amid the drought in the debt markets, Endemols lending banks decided to sell it at less than three quarters of its face value.
