When a swelling was noticed on the ear of one of our bobcats, we decided to sedate Windstar in order to drain the fluid from his ear. We then stitched the incisions open so no further problems would occur. Windstar had been relocated to another enclosure the previous week, so we could renovate his. So when he woke up we transferred him back into his new and improved living space for him to enjoy! Check out our website for more info: http://www.bigcatrescue.org.
