Shanghai, China -- Devotees flock to the famous Jade Buddha Temple to pray for happiness, longevity and good luck. The Jade Buddha Temple honors the only female Buddha, Kwan Yin or the Goddess of Mercy, who is believed to be highly compassionate and is able to grant women fertility. Hidden inside is the rare cultural relic, the Jade Buddha, which cannot be photographed or filmed out of respect for both Buddha and its pious followers.
