Medical Errors Exposed

Medical Errors in American hospitals kill 195,000 Americans every year and injure 15,000,000 Americans every year. Medical errors are caused by understaffed and overworked and limited training of nurses and doctors. Programs such as the 100,000 Lives Campaign and the Five Million Lives Campaign introduced by Dr Donald Berwick founder of IHI (Institute of Healthcare Improvement) have saved 122,000 lives every 18 months by having 4,100 hospitals introduce 12 preventive steps.
