After sharing an "intimate" mental link, Arlo (Jim Blanton) and Theresa (Alicia A. Wood) begin to experience horrifying nightmares of a murderer named Vinnie Coto (Rob Floyd). At the same time, Theresa and Astrid (Kim Breeding) uncover the Lar in their new smart house, an ancient "bad father" who calls himself Cronus.
