Since then, he has managed a balance of box-office hit films and dramatic roles to cement his leap to leading-man status. Most recently, Walker displayed his versatility as he transformed on-screen into a soldier under the direction of Clint Eastwood, played an Arctic research scientist in a Disney family adventure and played a New Jersey mobster in a gritty independent feature.
