In November 2007, Operation Smile held the World Journey of Smiles unfold in eight of the 25 countries. Here is what happened: - November 7-16, 2007 - 40 mission sites in 25 countries in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe & Asia - More than 1,900 Volunteers: (1,200 from 43 countries/700 from U.S.A.) - 7,414 children received free physical examinations - 4,086 children received free reconstructive surgery - Hundreds of high school, college and medical students from around the world volunteered in each country.
