Whose park? For what purpose? Bayview, Lennar, and Candlestick Point

On 09.10.2009, the KPFA Morning Show interviewed California State Senator Mark Leno and Jaron Brown and Nyese Joshua, residents of San Francisco's Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood, about Leno's California Senate Bill 792, which would authorize the sale of state parkland in the Hunters Point neighborhood to the Miami-based Lennar Corporation, to build waterfront condos. The California State Assembly passed S.B. 792 the next day, almost unanimously, with only San Francisco Assembly Member Tom Ammiano dissenting.
