All video, music, and editing by Maxwell J Muska Inspired by the poem below, also written by Max Muska: Give this light a break. Imagination dies out like a flame. Independent, self-reliant defiance becomes the nature of this struggle. What, exactly, is at stake? Are all of us the same? We've gotten this down to a science or so it seems. A double standard for the fake. There is no point in even playing this game when not one of us is pious. Yet we all go to so much trouble to give back what we take. We've forgotten why we came, an act of compliance. As those forgotten structures start to crumble, stone becomes snowflake, sparing us the blame (wherein lies the heart of misguidance). Ashes are scattered among the rubble. Do the dead dream of living as we envision death? This concept seems beyond our creativity. What fairy tales are given to us from birth. That guiding star still gleams. Pity, we will never see his city. Audio recorded/edited September-October 2009 Video recorded 26 November 2009, edited 1-7 December 2009. Part of the Abandoned Churchyard project. More information on the project coming soon.
