Fred Penner performs live (2002)

When the CBC Television 50th Anniversary train arrived in Winnipeg in 2002, CBC Manitoba had a two-hour newscast/special at the Union Station, looking back at the history of CBWT. Fred Penner was the star of the children's series "Fred Penner's Place" from 1985 to 1997, taped at CBC Manitoba. In this segment, Fred Penner is now part of a family band called the Penner Pack, and they perform live at the station. Watch as Jennifer Rattray fumbles as she interviews children.
