Grokked

A series to reflect the many-splendored different realities of one's actual interests, with no one particular theme - the word grokked is taken from Robert Heinlein's science-fiction novel "Stranger in a Strange Land" and is a made-up word which suggests a 'full' understanding of something. For five years with not a day off, Brian has continued his sit-in protest opposite the British Parliament buildings where he reminds British politicians and the world at large about the continuing killing of children in the Iraq War. The British Government changed the laws on demonstrating, but Brian is still there. His is a lone presence, but his conscience speaks for many millions worldwide, including me. Well done Al Jazeera for featuring this item, in the Witness Series, presented by Rageh Omar.
