Neanderthal cloning remains theoretical

There is no chance a Neanderthal is going to move in next door anytime soon, despite frenzied media speculation about the viability of cloning one. Although it may be technically possible to re-create man’s closest but extinct-for-tens-of-thousands-of-years relative using DNA, scientists are skeptical, to say the least.
