Jan 13th 2008 @ Waimea Bay North Shore Oahu, Hawaii. Quiksilver Big Wave Invitational in memory of "Eddie Aikau" also known as the "Eddie" was put on hold due to huge 15-25ft stormy surf conditions. Hawaii's big wave rider "Garrett McNamara" was the only surfer that paddled out and challenge the very dangerous surf conditions.
