Night and Day was a weird and wonderful, surreal British drama/soap which aired in UK 2001-2003 in UK, and was imported to several countries. The series consisted of 240 episodes (20-minute long), and 80 late-night omnibuses, comprising these 3 episodes, but with several scenes cut for time, and some additional material. Starring experienced actors such as Lesley Joseph, Sally Dexter, Joe McGann, Cathy Tyson, Glynis Barber, as well as a bunch of very talented young new-comers, such as Stephanie Leonidas, Seb Castang, Phoebe Thomas, Nick Schofield, Adam Paul Harvey, Kevin Sacre, Stuart Manning, Joe Jacobs, and Georgina Walker as Jane Harper, the girl whose mysterious disappearance on her 16th birthday kickstarts the show and dominates most of the major storylines, with Jane popping up regularly in show's trademark flashbacks, visions and fantasy scenes, until the mystery was resolved in show's dramatic and poignant final episodes. DVD release of this underrated show seems very unlikely.
