This is Star Ocean EX based off the Square Soft(Now Square Enix) company Star Ocean: The Second Story. The main character is Claude who gets transported to a distant planet called Expel, where he meets Rena and a whole bunch of other friends to find out about the mysterious Sorcery Globe. As for the rest, watch and find out. This is a very good anime.
